Sony/ATV Signs 18 Year Old Singer-Songwriter Chase Coy

Sony/ATV recently signed 18-year old singer/songwriter Chase Coy. He first came to Sony/ATV’s attention when he began posting songs on MySpace and received a disproportionately large amount of traffic early on his site. Soon after, Chase began releasing music independently and an impressive sales record followed his already-robust online presence. After his MySpace and sales numbers continued to grow, he was signed to Universal Records and is set to release his debut album in the top half of 2010.

Chase’s music is a blend of soft rock and folk woven with mature songwriting which has created a strong fabric for his career to be built on. He wrote and arranged the majority of his record and will control at least 85% of the album.
