Singer, songwriter and producer, Billy Mann, has been described as the artist "who helps artists find their voice." In addition to his successful career as a solo artist, Billy has written scores of hit songs for others that have earned him a reputation as one of the world's leading songwriters. Billy's talent as a multi-genre writer/producer is underscored by the diversity of the artists with whom he works: Sting, Pink, Jessica Simpson, Teddy Geiger, Backstreet Boys, Joss Stone, Samantha Jade, Delta Goodrem, Alesha, Imarobot, Cheyenne Kimball, Josh Groban, Anastacia, Celine Dion, Ricky Martin, Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child, Martina McBride, Hall & Oates, Art Garfunkel, Michael Bolton, Carole King, Nick Lachey, Jessica Andrews, Fat Joe and many others.

Raised in Philadelphia, Billy credits much of his musical influences to his hometown. His passion for songwriting began early in life, as he watched his older brother and sister learn to play piano. "When you see your siblings doing something, you naturally want to do it too," said Billy, who went on to learn many other instruments. As a teenager he developed a reputation as one of the city's up and coming songwriters after he was taken under the wing of jazz legend Grover Washington Jr. Still in high school, Billy began taking monthly trips to New York City to perform where he was ultimately discovered while rehearsing in a stairwell.

Billy went on to sign a deal with A&M Records and release two solo efforts,Self-Titled in 1995 and, Earthbound in 1998. Both albums received critical acclaim and Earthbound was voted the #1 album of the year, in 1998, by NPR/PRI's national radio show, The World Café. Billy's success as a songwriter extends far beyond his own albums. The list of artists who have recorded his songs reads like a who's who in music.

In recent years Billy has written, co-written and produced scores of hit songs including, Pink's "God Is A DJ" and "Stupid Girls" for Pink, "For You I Will" for Teddy Geiger and "With You" for Jessica Simpson. He has also written and/or produced numerous #1 and Top 10 singles in formats outside of Mainstream Pop such as, "Do It For Love" (Hall & Oates), "Sending You A Little Christmas" (Jim Brickman featuring Kristy Starling), "Treat Her Like A Lady" (Celine Dion), "Tuesday Afternoon" (Jennifer Brown), "We Are Alive" (Paul Van Dyk), "Love Shy" (Kristine Blonde) among several others. Among the other music legends Mann has worked with, Art Garfunkel is one of the most notable. Out of this collaboration came the song, "Bounce," from Garfunkel's album, Everything Waits to Be Noticed, which is in Radio & Records' Top 100 AC songs of 2003. Billy produced that album as well.

Billy has the rare ability to write hits that cross over from pop to rock, R&B to country, while still retaining his signature melodies and lyrical flair. His raw talent, top-notch execution and boundless creativity have made him one of the most in demand songwriters.
